How to request an item

• it is possible to recall an item that is currently on loan (if there are more items of the same book, all items with status Month have to be checked-out), or place a hold on an item that is located in Closed Stacks (books, journals  with the call numbers starting with letters SKL)
• it is not possible to request an item that is available in free access collection
• log in to the library catalogue, look up the required item and display the Holdings
• click on Recall this (or Place a hold for the items located in the Closed Stacks) and confirm by Submit request
• when the requested item is returned to the library, you receive an email
• items from Closed Stacks will be prepared for you within an hour, requests made after 5 p.m. (on Fri after 4 p.m., on Sat after 2 p.m.) will be ready the following opening day in the morning
• the items will be held for you at the circulation desk for 7 days
• you can check or delete your requests in Your account → Holds and Recalls
