Reference management software

Reference management software helps you cite your sources, collect, organize, share and store your bibliographic references. Most of the managers allow to add new references manually (filling in the form), automatically (by the identifiers ISBN, DOI etc.), or cull them from the web, databases. You can use plugins to insert your references into your work, change the reference styles, create bibliographies etc. More information is available in online manuals or tutorials of the particular manager.

EndNote Web is associated with the Web of Science database, but can be used independently. It is available for all MU users, but you must register first.
Zotero and Mendeley are free tools.
